Danny and I are “gearing up” for a move. After a 20 year career in the Army, Danny is due to retire 1 Feb, 2021! So guess what we are going to do? Crankin Haus is hitting the road! That’s right, pack up the kids, the house, the studio, work on converting a 40′ Eagle bus & travel the open road to tour the country! The plan is to visit all 50 states, 49 by bus and fly to Hawaii for the grand finally. We’ll have to wait and see if the whole covid thing gets better and the restrictions loosen up enough for us to do it. Btw, while we are passing through maybe your area, we will be looking for local jams to play at and we are also interested in checking out any good local bands, so let us know if you have any suggestions. We are so looking forward to playing and recording in the most way out there places like in caves or out in the open desert or in canyons or ??? (suggestions anyone?) Of course we will continue to write and plan while we are gone and eventually after all of the traveling fun and late night campfire jams with acoustics & percussion are over, we hope to end up back home in L.A. where we will be ready to connect with other musicians in the area to get Crankin Haus up off the ground & playing out again. So if anyone out there knows where all of the best musician hang outs and rock/blues/metal vibe jams are, (post covid of course) let us know in the comments.
